OUR SPONSORSHIP FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK

Cancer Research UK Charity Fashion Show: Presented by Tresor Paris & Story Boutique: Sponsored by Hawkins & Shepherd Shirts

On Thursday 12^th March it was time for Hawkins & Shepherd to do it's bit for charity once more.

Last week the acclaimed pan-Asian restaurant Gilgamesh in the heart Camden was host to the Cancer Research UK Charity Fashion Show. Tresor Paris and Story Boutique presented the fashion show for the Totteridge Society of Cancer Research. The event bought fashion, entertainment and top class food together to raise money for the all the wonderful work Cancer Research UK are currently undertaking.

A resounding success, the main feature of course was the Fashion show itself. The beautiful garments from Story Boutique of Cockfosters, stylish casual wear and glamorous evening wear. These were complimented by the stunning Tresor Paris jewellery from a range of their collections, with silver, rose gold and crystals as the stand-out pieces. Hawkins & Shepherd had a small role in the fashion show by donating a couple of shirts to be used in the styled menswear looks. The first shirt as shown below was from our signature Pin Collar Shirt range, blue stripe with contrast white collar - all handmade using 2x2/100 100% cotton fabric and mother of pearl buttons for only £85.

The second shirt as shown below was from our Formal Extreme Cutaway collar range, with very fine blue stripe with contrast white collar - all handmade using 2x2/140 100% cotton fabric and mother of pearl buttons for only £90.

As the main sponsor, Tresor Paris also donated goody bags and raffle prizes to the Cancer Research Fashion Show alongside some other amazing pieces in the auction prizes, which included signed shirts by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The entertainment was fantastic, with a surprise performance from the hilarious Stavros Flatley who didn’t disappoint, getting the crowd hyped and ready for the glamorous after party, also held in the lavish Gilgamesh.

Some of the other sponsors for the evening were; Porsche (Hatfield), Kryolan who did the models make up, of course us Hawkins & Shepherd, Made Man, M&A Coachworks and Hilton Hotel.

Overall the night was a stylish evening of fashion, jewellery and food, whilst raising an incredible amount of awareness for Cancer Research UK. Donations are still coming in but the event has already raised over £10,000.00 for the charity.
