A Nautical Wedding

When choosing your wedding venue for 2015, as well as the usual castle, stately home and beach venues, why not add nautical to the mix.  There is something welcoming about the care free nautical life and you can be assured that you are booking something different from your best friends weddings.

Hawkins & Shepherd were invited to the Historic Chatham Dockyard to arrange the menswear & styling for this nautical shoot.  Working with Kent's award winning wedding and portrait photographer who specialises in fine art weddings, with over 10 years experience Caroline Nicholson Photography.  It was nice to get away from the day-to-day hustle of London into some calmer waters of Kent, the Garden of England.  Perfect for a summer or winter wedding, the venue offers you some amazing places on-site to get those once in a lifetime photos of which my favourites being the Victorian Ropery and the Historic Warships.

Take in the crisp costal air and plan your theme.  Think aquatic anchors, sailor knots, nautical stripes, blues, yellows, drift wood, oars, sailing boats.
